Job Title: HR Business Partner - G4S Kenya

Reporting to the Human Resource Manager, the HR Business Partner is required to perform the roles of a business strategic partner, operations manager, emergency responder and employee mediator, whilst delivering on the G4S Human Resources core standards, ensuring and adhering to the set G4S Kenya Human Resources processes.
1. Provide Strategic Partnersupport to and with allocated business units
2. Provide Operations Managersupport to allocated business unit
3. Provide Emergency Responder support to allocated business unit
4. Provide Employee Mediator support to allocated business unit
5. Ensure business unit is optimally resourced
6. Ensure business unit complies with all aspects of HSSEC
7. Ensure business unit is trained to perform to required standard
8. Ensure business unit’s employee engagement levels are optimal
9. Ensure fair compensation and benefit practices in business unit
Knowledge and Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or relevant field
  2. National Diploma in Human Resources and/or Certified Human Resources Professional
  3. Kenya Labour market and legislation knowledge
  4. Member of IHRM
  • Five to eight years in Human Resources Management in a large business dealing with unionised employees
Technical Skills
  1. Business Acumen
  2. Conflict Management
  3. Negotiation skills
  4. Microsoft Word – Intermediate level
  5. Microsoft Excel – Intermediate level (Advance level are advantageous)
  6. Microsoft PowerPoint – Basic level
  7. ERP system(s)
  8. Google suite of products
