HELB Portal is the official Higher Education Loans Board website platform where students , loanees, employers, and education institutions must Register in order to access HELB services.

How to Register with HELB

For one to enjoy HELB services must first register as follows:
  • From your browser ,go to www.helb.co.ke
  • Click on User Registration
  • Click on Applicant Registration
  • You will be prompted to a page to fill in your credentials ( First Name ,Last Name ,ID number, valid email address and password.)
  • Click on sign up
  • An activation link will be sent to your email address
  • Go to your email and click the activation link
  • The activation link will take you to the HELB portal
  • Login to the HELB portal from the activation link
  • Update your personal information and click save
Alternatively 
You can register via HELB USSD code: *642# follow the prompts and register for those with feature phones.
