Faraja loan is a new 30 and 7-day Zero-interest loan available to Safaricom Mpesa customers where by they can buy goods and services at selected outlets and pay later up to ksh 100,000. Faraja loan is provided in partnership with EDomx Credit Limited.
Faraja loan Credit USSD code/How To Register for Faraja loan
To register/ activate Faraja loan facility, interested Safaricom Mpesa customers can dial Faraja USSD code *799# and select opt in.
Faraja Credit can only be used for Lipa na MPESA Buy Goods and Paybill transactions at partner outlets.
How To Check Your Faraja Loan Limits
Having registered with Faraja loan, you can now check your loan limit as follows:
- Dial *799#
- Select My Account
- Select Loan limit
- A message with your loan limit will be sent to your phone.
How To Buy Goods and Pay bills using Faraja loans
After successful registering with Faraja Credit and being allocated a loan limit, you can now buy goods and pay bills using Faraja loans as follows:
- Dial*799#
- Select Buy Goods or Paybill
- Enter the Till number or Paybill for the outlet
- Enter amount to pay ( must not exceed limit)
- Enter MPESA pin
- You will receive notification for the transaction.

- Select MY Account
- Choose View Balance
- A message with your Faraja Balance will be sent immediately.
