With the use of MPESA, many banks transactions can now be done via the phone - Mobile banking. The use of MPESA PAYBILL has made it easy for bank customers be able to pay or deposit money to their bank accounts without physically going to the bank.
The official MPESA PAYBILL or Business Number for Equity Bank Kenya is 247247.
How To Pay loan or deposit money to Equity bank via MPESA
- Open MPESA menu
- Go to Lipa na MPESA
- Choose PAYBILL
- Select Enter Business Number(Enter 247247)
- For Account Number ( Enter your Bank Account Number you received the loan with)
- Enter amount to pay
- Enter your MPESA pin ,confirm and send.
The money will be deposited to your Equity Bank Account and the loan can be deducted from there apon making a standing order for the bank to deduct the amount from there.
