Higher Education Loans Board (Helb) has recently published the application deadlines for the various Categories of Helb loans for the year 2021/2022 as follows:

a) First Time Undergraduate loan applications deadline is 31st Dec 2021.
b) Second & Subsequent Undergraduate loan applications deadline is 31st Oct 2021.
c) First Time TVET Student Loan applications deadline is 31st Dec 2021.
d) Second & subsequent TVET student Loan applio deadline is 31st Dec 2021.
e) Afya Elimu Student Loan First Time applications deadline is 31st Dec 2021
f) Afya Elimu student Loan Second & subsequent Loan applications deadline is 31st Oct 2021
g) Post Graduate Scholarships Helb applications deadline is 31st Aug 3021
h) Helb Jielimishe Loan applications deadline is 30th June 2022
i ) KRA staff TRF loans applications deadline is 30th June 2022
j) Civil Servants TRF Loans applications deadline is 30th June 2022.
The modes of application are either through the Helb Student Portal ,Helb App or USSD code*642#
