The 2021/2022 Second & Subsequent HELB loan applications are now open. Students who want to apply for the loans can do so via the online platform, via app or through USSD code*642#
How To apply for HELB Subsequent loan via app
Download the app from Google playstore
Input your phone number, to receive the OTP code
Once you get the OTP code set your pin
Login with your pin
Once logged in register with your Names and ID number
Provide all the information required for the application
The loan to be applied will depend on the previous loan allocations.
At the end of the application ,you Will receive a confirmation that the application process is complete.
How To Apply via USSD code *642#
- On your phone’s dial *642# and hit the call button
- Select option ‘1’ and hit the send button
- On the next page prompt, Fill in your full name, valid Identification number, and your date of birth
- Set a 4-digit Pin and confirm it
- A pop-up notification will be sent to you to confirm your HELB loan mobile service application as soon as you’re done
