What are Sacco Dividends in Kenya

Sacco Dividends are the sum of money that Sacco members get out of the Sacco  profits on their shares. Dividends are like a share of profits that Saccos gifts its members to encourage them save and invest their money.

Sacco Dividends rates are usual determined at the end of every year during annual general meeting. 

How To Calculate My Sacco  Dividends in Kenya 

Most Saccos in Kenya use these two Methods to Calculate their members sacco dividends on deposits.

1) Flat rate  method

2) Pro - rata basis method

Almost all  Saccos use the Pro rata basis method to calculate members dividends as this method encourages members to make monthly deposits to their savings.

2NK Sacco Dividends 

2NK Sacco members are entitled to dividends annually. The sacco  pays the best dividends to its members savings at 25% as shown in the table above.

Kenya Police Sacco Dividends

Members saving with Kenya police Sacco are entitled to receive dividends on their savings at the end of every year. This year members are going to receive a dividends of 17% of their share profits.

Afya Sacco Dividends 

Afya sacco members are entitled to dividends at end of each financial year.

Afya sacco members are going to receive 7.5% of their share profits for their savings as shown in the table above.

Mwalimu National Sacco Dividends

Mwalimu National Sacco members are entitled to dividends at the end of each financial year. This year members are to receive a dividends share of about 10.5% of their share profits.

Harambee Sacco Dividends

Harambee sacco members are entitled to dividends at the end of each financial year. Dividends rates are always decided at the end of a financial year at the AGM. This year Harambee Sacco members will receive a dividends of 4% of their savings profits.

Imarika Sacco Dividends

Imarika Sacco members are entitled to dividends every year.

This year  Imarika Sacco members will receive dividends of 13%  according to the table above.

Waumini Sacco Dividends

Waumini Sacco members receive dividends at the end of each year. This year Waumini Sacco is giving dividends of 9.25% as the table above shows.

Wanandege Sacco Dividends

Wanandege Sacco dividends rates are usually decided during the Annual General Meeting ( AGM) and members dividends are always posted on their individual accounts on approval. This year Wanandege Sacco members are receiving 8% dividends.

How To Withdraw Wanandege Sacco members dividends

Wanandege Sacco members can withdraw their dividends on their accounts as follows: Use USSD code*346# or via ATM or withdraw cash over the counter.

Safaricom Sacco Dividends

Safaricom Sacco members are entitled to dividends at the end of each financial year. Members are going to receive a dividend of 12% according to the table above.

Sheria Sacco Dividends

Sheria Sacco members are also entitled to dividends. Members receive dividends at the end of every year. Sheria sacco members received dividends of 16% share on investment dividends this year.

Stima Sacco Dividends

Stima Sacco dividends rates  are decided at the  end of each financial year. This year Stima Sacco members received 14% dividends share on investment.

Ardhi Sacco Dividends

Ardhi Sacco members are entitled to dividends on their shares. Members can now earn dividends on shares above kes 20,000.The dividends are given out at the end of each financial year.

Hazina Sacco Dividends

Hazina Sacco members are entitled to dividends on their investment shares at the end off each financial year. Hazina Sacco members received a dividends of their shares in their accounts on approval.

Maisha Bora Sacco Dividends

Maisha Bora Sacco members are entitled to dividends at the end of each financial year. Maisha Bora Sacco members received 15% dividends on their shares this year.

Members can withdraw their dividends through USSD code *346# Msaaco app or ATM or over the counter  withdrawal.

Solution Sacco Devidends 2022

Solution Sacco Board of Directors declared an improved dividend payout to members for the year 2021 at a rate of18% up from 16% in 2020.

Members’ interest on savings was paid at 13% percent up from 12.13%.

Speaking during the 2022 annual general meeting held recently, the Sacco Chairman Mr. Francis Rimberia said the Sacco experienced significant growth for the financial year ended 31st December 2021. Its total assets grew by 30% percent to hit Ksh7.35 billion compared to Ksh 5.64 billion in 2020. Member deposits registered a 45% growth to reach Ksh 1.71billion as revenues hit Ksh1.34 billion.

IG Sacco  Dividends 2022

IG Sacco ( Invest and Grow) Board of Directors have so far approved dividend of 17% up from last year's 14% to  its members for the year  2022/2023.
