Sometimes you might receive Buy Goods Till payments to your Till number by mistake. A customer might make wrongful payments to your till number while paying for another till number. You can reverse this payments to the sender in a very simple process.

This is s how you can reverse this transaction: 

Intiate a reversal by sending a text message from the MPESA registered line that you registered as the number to receive payments made to your till number.

The message must be in this format:

[Reverse][Space][Transaction ID] e.g Reverse OA12D243 send to 234 

There will be no costs for the reversal from the Merchant and customer as the payments were received in your Till in error.

After sending this message , Safaricom will reverse the payments to the sender.

You can as well call customer care on 2134 from the Lipa na MPESA for the reversal.
