Are you stranded because you have forgotten your ATM card at home and you need to withdraw money agently ? Don't worry am going to share with you an easy way to get that cash without your ATM card.
Safaricom MPESA recently introduced an MPESA USSD code *334# that allows customers to access MPESA services without a struggle.
This is the simple procedure to withdraw your money from the ATM using your phone :
On your Phone:
- Dial *334#
- Select Withdraw Cash
- Choose from ATM
- Enter your ATM Number ( Agent number) which is 555555) if you are withdrawing from KCB Bank, DIB Bank, Family Bank, Sidian Bank, Stanbic Bank ,NCBA Bank , Credit, Prime Bank, GT Bank,Faulu Bank ,Solution Sacco and for Equity Bank use agent number: 286286.For Co-op Bank use 472472
- Enter MPESA pin confirm and send
You will receive an SMS from MPESA with a 6-digit authorization code which expires after 4 minutes.
On the ATM machine
After successful receiving the authorization Pin(code)
- Select the MPESA menu button
- Choose your Language
- Enter the 6-digit Authorization code on the ATM keyboard.
- Enter your Safaricom Mobile number
- Enter the amount you wish to withdraw and press Continue
- Collect your money and receipt at the ATM dispenser.
That simple!!
You will also receive notifications from both MPESA and your Bank about the transaction.
However, its advisable to start the whole process while already at the ATM booth as the authorization code may expire before you finish the process or you have to restart the process if time passes 4 minutes.
