Absa bank Kenya Customers can now smile after the bank introduced the relief on loans due to the COVID-19 Pendamic.
As the world continues to grapple with the novel Covid-19, the economic impact of the pandemic remains a great concern for our country, businesses and individuals.

In its response to cushion its customers the bank introduced the following reliefs to active loans as follows:

  • Personal Loans 
  • Mortgages  
  • Asset Finance Loan 
  • Credit Cards and Business Loans.


Under these relief options , the bank is offering:
1) Loan repayments -  a repayment holiday of up to 3 months for your loan which can also be extended upon request.
2) You will not incur any extra processing costs as a result of the holiday.
3) The bank  also have extended your credit life cover for 3 months at no cost for personal loans.
4) Credit card payments – The bank is offering a 3 months repayment holiday with no additional fees.
5)  Reduction of your monthly instalments.
6) Credit Card customers can either reduce their monthly repayments to 5% of the outstanding balance or pay in equal monthly instalments of up to 12 months.
