YYAS program students: credit :Yale university

Yale Young African Scholars program is an intensive academic and an enrichment program designed by Yale University for African secondary school students planning to pursue tertiary education and who wish to make meaningful impact as young leader on the continent.

Eligibility

In order to apply for the program, applicants must meet the following:

  • Must be citizens or permanent residents of an African country / Refugees can also apply
  • Must be currently attending a school in an African country
  • Must be at least 14 years of age by 12Feb 2020.
  • Must be able to participate in a rigorous academic curriculum conducted in English
  • Applicants must be graduating from secondary school earliest Nov/Dec 2020. Candidates graduating from secondary school before August 2020 are not eligible to apply.
