2019 Lenga Ugaidi na Talanta Competitions Are On

Applications are now being accepted for the Lenga Ugaidi na Talanta Competitions for the year 2019.

Lenga Ugaidi na Talanta is an initiative that seeks to channel youth creativity towards countering the violent extremist narrative.

The short film ,poetry and music competition targets Kenyan youth under 35 years in the fight against Radicalization, Violent extremism and Terrorism.

Prizes To Be Won 

The following are the major prizes among other prizes:

Best Overall - ksh 500,000
2nd place - ksh 250,000
3rd place - ksh 100,000
Best each category ( Film,Poetry or Music) - ksh 250,000
Youngest Entrant- Smartphone

How To Participate

Applicants must submit their videos together with the following requirements:
Full name
Email address
Phone number
Copy of National ID
Parent or guardian ID's copy if under age

How To Submit
Record / Create a five (5) minutes video , animation or motion graphics based on the preferred category ( Poetry, Music or Film) and submit your video through:
