The National Council for Persons With Disability (NCPWD) is looking for competent and qualified individuals to fill the vacant positions of Disability Services Officers 4 posts.

The Officers will be responsible for development and management of programmes within the council, fundraising
for programmes, development of partnerships with stakeholders. Formulation of the Council’s and National policies and strategies on CT PWSD, Registration, Habilitation and Rehabilitation, Education, Economic Empowerment,
infrastructure development and Disability Mainstreaming.

Qualifications and Requirements

The successful candidate shall be a Kenyan citizen with:
(i) Bachelor’s degree in social science
(ii) Professional qualification where applicable
(iii) Experience in working in the Disability Sector or a similar sector;
(iv) Fulfill the requirements of chapter six in the constitution

(i) Proficiency in IT
(ii) Communication and reporting skills
(iii) Interpersonal skills
(iv) Integrity
(v) Team player

Terms of service:
PERMANENT & PENSIONABLE (With a probation period of six months)
Renumeration
Consolidated pay is in accordance with the Council’s pay structure as well as Government (SRC) Allowances provisions as indicated below in Kenya Shillings:
Basic Salary:45,179x2,157-47,336x2,157-49,493x2,157-51,650x2,157-53,807x2,157-58,121x2,159-60,280.
House Allowance: Depending on deployment
Commuter Allowance: KES 8,000
Medical Allowance: Cover to be provided according to the Council’s Medical Scheme.
