Kenyatta University is now accepting applications for the 2019 East Africa Community (EAC) Scholarships to pursue KFW funded Masters Programmes at Kenyatta university.
Eligible Masters Programmes
The programmes hosting the EAC-KFW MSc Scholarships at Kenyatta university are as follows:- MSc in Biotechnology
- MSc in Crop protection ( Plant pathology)
- MSc in Integrated Soil Fertility Management
- MSc in Applied Mathematics
- MSc in Entrepreneurship
Who Can Apply
- Citizens of partner states of the East African Community ( EAC)
- Applicant with the required academic qualifications for admission to the programme
- Be below 35 years of age
- Applicants must apply to study in an EAC partner state other than their country of citizenship
- An applicant must submit a well written motivational letter in English elaborating on the following:
a) Motivation for wanting to pursue the Masters programme chosen
b) Forseen professional engagement in EAC integration agenda after completing the Masters studies
c) Expected application of the acquired skills and knowledge from the Masters programme to contribute to the EAC Integration agenda
d) Personal professional and academic vision in the next 5 to 10 years.
N/B The above should be covered in one letter of not more than 500 words .
How To Apply
All interested and qualified individuals should submit their applications as follows:
1. Identify the programme of your choice from the 5 above
2. Fill application form for admission to Kenyatta university ( International students)
3. Fill application form for the Scholarship ( available on IUCEA website - www.iucea.org
4. Submit both application forms electronically to the university via : director-researchsupport@ku.ac.ke and send a copy to the following email addresses:
