New students joining Masinde Muliro university of Science and Technology ( MMUST) must first register with the university's student portal then login to access online services provided by the university such as , semester registration, Hostel booking, fees statements, exam timetables etc.

The step by step registration process is as follows;- On your browser visit www.portal.mmust.ac.ke
- A student Login form will appear
- On the bottom right conner , Click on " Create account "
- Enter your registration number
- Enter password of your choice
- Renter the password
- Click on " Submit "
- You will be notified that an activation link has been sent to your email account
- Login into your email account and click on the link sent.
- Your Student portal account will be now in full functional.

After successful registering students can now freely login and access all the services.
This is how to login;
- On your browser visit www.portal.mmust.ac.ke
- Enter your Registration number as the username
- Enter your password
- Click Login and you are ready to go.
How To Reset The Student portal password (MMUST)
Its normal for some students to forget their password or rather its important to regularly change the password for security reasons.
This is how to reset the password
- Visit www.portal.mmust.ac.ke
- A student login form will appear
- Click on the " Forgot Your Password " link
- Enter your Registration number
- Click on the" Email link"
- Follow the rest of simple instructions and set a new password and be able to login again.
