The university is now seeking to recruit a qualified and competent individual to fill the vacant position of a Library assistant at the university.
Job Title; Library Assistant - security
Key Roles
The successful applicant will be responsible for the security of the library resources, library patrons and make sure that only authorized users make use of the library.Duties
- Ensure only authorized items leaves or enters the library
- To make sure the library environment is conducive for learning , free from noise or loud music.
- Assist in enforcing library regulations
- Inspect and adjust security systems
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- A minimum of Diploma in Library studies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate
