The Africa Netpreneur Prize initiative is Jack Ma's flagship entrepreneur program in Africa led by Jack Ma Foundation.
There is a grand prize of US$10million in total to be shared among the top 10 finalists for the Netpreneurs competitions.
Opening of The Applications
Applications for the prizes will be opened on March 27th 2019.
The applications will be open to entrepreneurs from across the African continent encouraging both traditional and tech driven business entrepreneurs.
The competitions will be open to entrepreneurs in all industries, but founders of businesses that are internet-driven are particularly encouraged to apply.
The applications will close on June 30th 2019 to kick start reviews and interviews.
Benefits of The Prize
All the 10 finalists will receive the grand prize of US $ 1 million each from Jack Ma Foundation as well as access to the Netpreneur community of African business leaders to share expertise, experiences, best practices and resources.
