The 2018 KCPE examinations concluded on 1st November 2018.
Candidates are expecting their KCPE Results by the end of November 2018.
How To Check The Results
There are two easy ways to check the 2018 KCPE Results:
- SMS via phone
- Online internet

Each candidate is supposed to send their index number to Safaricom, Airtel and Orange networks.
To get your KCPE results via sms, send index number through sms to code 20076.
N/B: This code will only work after the exams have been released and is subject to change. Therefore check for an update of the changes of the sms code.

It takes 2 - 10 minutes to receive the results after one sends the SMS.
Each SMS cost a little bit higher than the normal rates.

2018 KCPE Exams can be accessed through the internet at the KNEC portal.
Examination Results Slips and Printouts
Each of the institutions that enter candidates for the KNEC examinations shall receive a hard copy of the institution’s examination results printout and result slips which captures the following information:
1. Institution’s Code and Name
This appears on the top left side of the printout. The institution’s code is a unique number by which an examination centre is identified by the Council. This is the number that an institution should always quote whenever communicating with KNEC.
2. Candidates Details
Below the institution’s name and code are details of the candidates. These details include the index number of the candidate, year of examination, gender, individual subject grades and the mean grade.
