The National Licensing Examination administered by the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) is one of the ways to ensure competency in nurses and midwives before they begin to practice.

The results for the August 2018 Licensing exams are likely to be declared in October 2018.

The Results

Immediately after the declaration of the exams results, students can follows the following simple procedure to access their exams results:

  1. On your browser ,go to the Nursing council of Kenya website www.nckenya.com 
  2. Click on the Online services portal
  3. Click on Register or Login if already registered
  4. Click on Examination results and make sure you download and print the results slip to be presented to the Council upon request

Registration and Licensing

By law all Nurses and Midwives in Kenya are required to be registered and Licensed by the Nursing Council of Kenya.

Immediately after receiving the National Licensing Exams results , successful candidates are required to submit applications for registration and licensing within 30 days upon release of the exams results.

Upon successful registration , nurses and midwives will be awarded with  Registration Certificates and  Practising licenses.
