Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) is the only mid- level health training institution in the Kenyan ministry of health and the largest Medical training institution in East and Central Africa. KMTC admits students from Uganda , Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda , Sudan and Nigeria in its intakes .

September KMTC Intakes
This is the Main intake .
The applications for admission for the September intake are always opened in the months of April and May .
The applications are done online only.
The charges for the application are ksh 2000 for Kenyan citizen and USD 50 for non citizens of Kenya.
The admissions for September intakes are for the government sponsored students.

March KMTC intakes
The KMTC March intake is usual for students who want to study on parallel programme as self sponsored students.
In this intake students have the chances of choosing their courses of preference as well as campuses.
The fees for this parallel programme is a bit higher compared to the regular programme.
Applications for March intakes are usual open in January every year.
General Qualifications for KMTC intakes
Students interested to pursue KMTC courses on regular or parallel programmes must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Certificate course- A minimum of KCSE C-minus and above.
- Diploma course - A minimum of KCSE C plain and above.
