The HELB Afya Elimu first time loan applications have been extended to 31st October 2018.
The funds offers affordable loans to needy students pursuing medical training at mid- levels ie Diploma and certificate courses.
Those eligible are Kenyan students enrolled for KMTC courses and are applying for the loans for the first time.

This is the step by step procedure on how to make the application.- On your browser go to www.helb.co.ke
- Register with the HELB student portal
- Login and access the 2018/ 2019 First time Afya Elimu Fund Loan Application form.
- Dully fill the Application form and print two copies.
- Attach all relevant documents as required.
- Sign the Application form and also have it signed and stamped by the relevant authorities as requested.
- Submit one copy of the dully completed application form to the Higher Education Loans Board student service centre at the Anniversary Towers Building, Mazzaine 1 , University way Nairobi. OR drop the Application to any of the HELB Desks at the following Huduma centres: Nairobi-GPO, Machakos, Mombasa, Kisumu, Kakamega, Nakuru, kisii, Nyeri ,Embu , Kitui , Bungoma , Murang'a, Garisa , Kilifi, Narok, Eldoret, Trans Nzoia , Kericho , Meru, Nandi, Lodwar and Chuka.
