Attachment to students parliament

Are you a student in Kenya taking Law and related courses ?Parliament of Kenya is looking for you.

The parliament of Kenya regularly offer attachment and Internship opportunities to university students in Kenya who are required to undertake an attachment as a part of their academic qualification and who wish to gain real life experience of work in their area of specialization.
The attachment programme runs for a period of three months while internships takes six months.

Benefits of the programme

The programme will benefit the students as follows:

  • The programme provides the students with an opportunity to gain practical knowledge regarding area of specialization by integrating theory into practice.
  • Students gain top hand Law line experience in the parliament.
  • Students will have the opportunity of growing their network of like- minded interns and professionals therefore growing their networthy.

Eligibility and Requirements

  • The attachment and internship opportunities are open only to public universities students in Kenya.
  • The following documents are required before application is made:
  1. A letter of introduction from the university indicating field of study and number of credits for practical attachment.
  2. A copy of student's national identity card or passport
  3. Two recent taken passport size photographs
  4. A copy of student's certificate of good conduct
  5. Proof of insurance cover

How to apply

Interested students may submit their applications for attachments or internships together with the documents mentioned above at least 3 months before the date of commencement of the attachment or internship.
